Coxamin is unique, entirely herbal product containing calcium. Produced by calcified red algae - Lithothamnion Calcareum. They inhabit restricted areas around the clean shores of southwestern Ireland and western Iceland. Algae live about four or five years and for this short period they manage to acquire a large amount of minerals from the sea.

Coxamin has a unique porous structure that looks like a honeycomb. After primary hydration its structure changes into smooth. It does not look like chalky, grain structure, which we typically associate with the notion of calcium product.

Coxamin is the best absorbable calcium product available on the market. Calcium obtained by Lithothamnion Calcareum, is 20% more efficiently absorbed than calcium in dairy products and with a little more than 40% than tricalcium phosphate

The excellent absorption of Coxamin is due to its specific structure, its content is shared between three polymorphs - calcite, aragonite (orthorhombic structure), vaterite (hexagonal structure).

Coxamin is not just calcium. It contains also magnesium (2.5%), boron, copper, selenium, manganese, zinc and other trace elements and minerals (74 in total). Magnesium is required for the good absorption of calcium from the body, and boron and zinc play a major role in bio vitality of the calcium source.

Coxamin is a unique product, different by all other sources providing calcium. Its formula is free from lactose and phosphates. Does not contain pesticides, preservatives and colorants.

Its entirely plant origin makes it suitable for vegetarians.
